It fits either the Robert Sorby ⅜” beading and parting tool or bedan. The two thumb screws lock the sizing tool firmly in place. How to use Set the parting tool to the desired size with a steel rule – lock tool in position by tightening the wing screws. Rough out the timber to within 1/2″ of the desired size using the beading and parting tool, or parting tool. Use the sizing tool with a backward and downward pressure to produce the accurate finished diameter.
